It supports link lengths of up to 100 meters on OM3 fiber and 150 meters on OM4 fiber, making it ideal for intra-facility and rack-to-rack interconnects. The module also supports 10 x 10G breakout mode, allowing a single CXP port to fan out to ten individual 10GBASE-SR optical interfaces using ribbon-to-duplex breakout cables — a powerful option for aggregation and migration scenarios.
Designed for commercial temperature environments (0°C to 70°C), the ONS-CXP-100G-SR10 is hot-swappable and features Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time link health visibility.
