This clip is purpose-built for environments where ceiling tiles hang below the ceiling grid (recessed tile configuration), providing the best fit between the access point and the ceiling surface. It features three adjustable detent positions (A, B, and C) to accommodate varying T-rail widths, and includes locking screws that prevent the clip from shifting once installed. The recessed clip can also be used in flush ceiling tile installations — the resulting ¼" gap does not affect the safety or security of the mount.
The AIR-AP-T-RAIL-R is compatible with a wide range of Cisco Aironet access point platforms and must be paired with either the AIR-AP-BRACKET-1 (low-profile) or AIR-AP-BRACKET-2 (universal) mounting bracket. For ceiling environments using channel rails or beam rails instead of standard T-rails, the optional AIR-CHNL-ADAPTER is required.
