The bundle includes 10x AS5X-PVDM2-64 DSP modules installed across 2x AS5X-FC high-density packet voice feature cards. Each AS5X-FC card supports up to six PVDM2-64 modules, providing scalable channel allocation from 64 to 384 channels per card. 8 Channelized E1 Trunk Termination
The included AS535-DFC-8CE1 trunk feature card provides physical termination for up to 8 E1 interfaces, supporting E1 R1, E1 R2, E1 PRI, and Inter Machine Trunk (IMT) configurations. This enables direct connection to telco networks for high-bandwidth voice and data transmission without external multiplexing equipment.

Cisco IOS Requirement: The AS5X-FC high-density packet voice feature card requires a minimum of Cisco IOS Release 12.4(4)XC with an IP Plus image. Only PVDM2-series DSP modules are supported on the AS5X-FC voice feature card.
Boot Requirement: At least one AS5X-FC card must be present during system bootup. Additional AS5X-FC cards can be hot-installed afterward.
Echo Cancellation: Software echo cancellation (G.168-compliant, 64ms coverage) is enabled by default. Hardware echo cancellation is not available on this platform.
Protocol Support: H.323 and SIP are supported as call control protocols. SCCP (Skinny Client Control Protocol) is not supported. GSM AMR-NB codec support is available only with H.323 and SIP.
Trunk Card: The AS535-DFC-8CE1 supports E1 R1, E1 R2, E1 PRI, and IMT configurations.
