It delivers 48 ports of 100M/1G BASE-T copper access alongside 4x 1/10/25G SFP28 and 2x 40/100G QSFP28 uplinks — all in a compact 1RU form factor. Built on Cisco Cloud Scale technology and running NX-OS, this switch supports 0.696 Tbps of switching capacity and over 517 Mpps forwarding rate, ensuring line-rate L2/L3 performance for demanding workloads.
The N9K-C92348GC-X is ideal for big data environments requiring dense 1G server access with modern high-speed uplinks, as well as out-of-band management switch use cases. It supports advanced features including VXLAN BGP EVPN, streaming telemetry, NX-API programmability, and zero-touch provisioning (POAP). Each unit ships with dual redundant 400W AC power supplies, three fan modules, AC power cords, and a 1RU rackmount kit — with your choice of port-side exhaust or port-side intake airflow to match your data center's cooling architecture.
Note: Cisco announced End-of-Sale for this product effective September 1, 2025. Pre-owned and refurbished units remain an excellent cost-effective option for extending or expanding existing Nexus 9200 deployments.

With 48 ports of 100M/1G BASE-T, the N9K-C92348GC-X provides dense copper connectivity for servers, storage, management interfaces, and IoT devices. Each port supports auto-negotiation between 100 Mbps and 1 Gbps, giving you flexibility to connect legacy and current-generation equipment without adapter changes.
Modern High-Speed Uplinks
The 4x SFP28 ports support 1/10/25G speeds, while the 2x QSFP28 ports handle 40G or 100G connections. This combination lets you connect to spine or aggregation switches at speeds that prevent uplink bottlenecks, and provides a smooth migration path as your fabric evolves from 10G to 25G/100G.
Cisco Cloud Scale ASIC

The custom ASIC enables line-rate telemetry collection across all ports without adding latency or impacting switch performance — critical for environments running Cisco Tetration Analytics or similar visibility platforms.
Programmability & Automation
Running Cisco NX-OS, the N9K-C92348GC-X supports NX-API, Python scripting, Ansible integration, and Power-On Auto Provisioning (POAP) for zero-touch deployments. These capabilities dramatically reduce manual configuration time and enable consistent, repeatable network provisioning at scale.
Redundant Power & Flexible Airflow
Each unit includes dual 400W AC power supplies for N+1 redundancy and three hot-swappable fan modules. Fan and power supply modules are field-replaceable during operation.
