The Cisco N2K-C2232PP is a member of the Cisco Nexus 2000 Series Fabric Extenders. It is a 10 Gigabit Ethernet fabric extender that provides connectivity and management for Cisco Nexus switches. The N2K-C2232PP offers 32 fixed 10 Gigabit Ethernet and Fiber Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) ports, with 8 of them capable of supporting 40 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. It is designed to be deployed in a top-of-rack (ToR) or middle-of-row (MoR) architecture to extend the reach of the Cisco Nexus switches and provide high-performance connectivity to servers and storage devices.
